USI Bookstore discount
Active alumni can present their membership card to the USI Bookstore to receive a 10% discount on USI clothing and memorabilia. Located in the University Center.  The Bookstore is open 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Fridays, and 9 a.m. to Noon on Saturday.

Continuing Education discounts!
Continuing Education offers a wide variety of non-credit programs and services and manages off-campus credit courses at seven sites in southwestern Indiana. There are more than 9,000 non-credit registrations annually in business and professional development and computer application courses; specialized courses for health professionals; fitness, arts, and leisure activities; programs for children and parents; personal interest areas including foreign languages; and travel/study programs.

Alumni Association members are entitled to a 10% discount on non-credit continuing education courses. Alumni must provide their graduation year and social security number at the time of enrollment to receive the discount. (Discount does not apply to courses held off-campus or any travel programs. Discount also does not apply to spouses or children.) See Continuing Education.

GradMed Short-term medical plan available to USI Alumni
The newest service of the University of Southern Indiana Alumni Association is GradMed insurance protection for new graduates and other alumni who need short-term major medical insurance coverage.

When a student graduates, eligibility for health coverage under a parent’s medical plan may end. Alumni between jobs also may be without coverage. GradMed can cover participants from 60 to 185 days while they secure a new job or wait for employee benefits to begin. Subsequent policies also may be available for additional 60-185 day periods, if needed.

GradMed covers both accidents and illnesses. Pre-existing conditions are excluded.
