Alumni chapters provide a great chance for alumni to network and at the same time, promote USI through chapter activities. Each chapter is an extension of the USI Alumni Association with its own constitution and by-laws. Chapters meet regularly and have a variety of programs to provide opportunities for career networking or social and athletic events.
There are two alumni chapters in Indiana: Indianapolis has approximately 1464
alumni and Dubois County has approximately 821 alumni.
The third chapter in the Greater Louisville area has approximately
423 alumni.
Dubois County Alumni Chapter
The chapter assists the USI Admission Office with student recruitment receptions for area high school students; hosted social outings to a theme park, outdoor theatre musical, and baseball game; and annually award a scholarship to a Dubois County student attending USI.

Greater Indianapolis Alumni Chapter
USI's most active chapter sponsors an annual golf scramble, the proceeds provide scholarships to students from Marion County and contiguous counties. Other activities include student recruitment receptions, entering student and alumni picnic at a baseball game, and gatherings following the USI at University of Indianapolis basketball games.

Greater Louisville Alumni Chapter
The chapter has held networking receptions and gatherings following the USI at Bellarmine University basketball games. Plans are to initiate a local scholarship for a high school student to attend USI.
