Southern Indiana Review
The fall 2002 issue of Southern Indiana Review - University of Southern
Indiana's national literary magazine - are available at Barnes & Noble
Booksellers and the USI Bookstore.
Featuring poetry, fiction, non-fiction, reviews, art, and photography, SIR
showcases the talents of emerging and established writers and artists from
across the Midwest and the country.
Published authors, teachers, professors, and editors are among the
contributors, including Julie Lechevsky, Ron Mohring, Susan Ross, David
Shumate, David Starkey, and Tom Watson. Three members of the USI faculty
also are among the contributors:
Jim McGarrah, instructor in English - non-fiction: "Transcending Narrative:
An Interview with Lynn Emanuel."
John McNaughton, professor of art - wood sculpture: "Chop, Chop."
Kathryn Waters, chair of the Art, Music, and Theatre Department -
photographs: "Blue Guide to Indiana in New Harmony, Indiana," and "Ilona
Granet and Kyle Bradley in the USI Ceramics Studio."
USI's School of Liberal Arts sponsors the SIR, which receives support from
the Indiana Arts Commission and the National Endowment for the Arts.
