Habitat Build Day
A Habitat Build Day for USI women is scheduled October 25 during the third
annual Evansville Habitat Women Build. USI alumnae, staff, and students
may volunteer to participate in the morning (8 a.m. to noon) or afternoon
(noon to 4 p.m.) building sessions.
A blitz-style build to provide a single mother and four children a new home, Habitat’s Women Build will be held October 11-November 8. In addition to USI, women’s groups involved in the 2003 event include Integra Bank, First Federal Bank, Schnucks Foods, Vectren, Whirlpool, Women’s Realtors, Albion Fellows Bacon Center, and Ivy Tech.
Skilled and unskilled volunteers age 16 or older are welcome to participate. Each volunteer will receive a complimentary t-shirt. To register, contact USI Alumni & Volunteer Services at 812/464-1924 or email alumni@usi.edu.
