The College of Business wants to help businesses find the information they are looking for.
- Southwestern Indiana Regional Stock Index -- The Department of Economics and Finance has created the Southwestern Indiana Regional Stock Index (SWIRSI) which can be used as a regional performance indicator. Executives, investors, and others interested in the southwestern Indiana region can use this in the same way the DOW and other indexes can be used nationally to gain insight into the market valuation of stocks and, thus, perhaps some indicator of the robustness of the economy.
