Community-Based Engagement Fellowships


Application Guidelines

Proposals must be submitted to the office of the Dean by February 24, 2012

All full- and part-time faculty in the College of Business are eligible to submit proposals for the Community-Based Engagement Fellowships

Recommended Proposal Outline

  1. Title Page

  2. Project Summary (not to exceed 150 words)

  3. Project Description (not to exceed 3 single-spaced pages)

  1. Identify Community Issue/Priority and Objectives of the Proposed Project

  2. Project Design

  3. Significance (e.g. if the objectives of the proposed project are achieved, how will this project benefit the local area/community?)

Criteria for Selection

  1. Likely impact on the local area/community

  2. Feasibility of the proposed project

  3. Willingness to share insights from the project in a public forum within one year following receipt of a fellowship
