Community-Based Engagement Fellowships
Application Guidelines
Proposals must be submitted to the office of the Dean by February 24,
2012
All full- and part-time faculty in the College of Business are eligible to submit proposals for the Community-Based Engagement Fellowships
Recommended Proposal Outline
Title Page
Project Summary (not to exceed 150 words)
Project Description (not to exceed 3 single-spaced pages)
Identify Community Issue/Priority and Objectives of the Proposed Project
Project Design
Significance (e.g. if the objectives of the proposed project are achieved, how will this project benefit the local area/community?)
Criteria for Selection
Likely impact on the local area/community
Feasibility of the proposed project
Willingness to share insights from the project in a
public forum within one year following receipt of a fellowship
Board of Advisors Burning Issues List
Board of Advisor members suggested ideas in answer
to the questions: "What would you like to see the College do for the community?"
"What the College of Business could use resources for to help the community?"
