Dr. Jennifer Williams
I received my BS in Computer Information Systems from Western KY University in 1988. I completed a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) in Management Information Systems in 1994 from Southern Illinois University-Carbondale. I have been teaching Computer Information Systems at USI since 1992. I earned tenure and received promotion to Associate Professor status in 1999. Since coming to USI, I have taught several undergraduate courses including: Introduction to Micro-Based Computers, Advanced Micro Applications, Systems Analysis and Design, Management Information Systems, Managing Information Technology, Organizational Support Systems and Special Topics in CIS. I have full graduate faculty status at USI. I currently teach Management Information Systems in the MBA program. In the past I have taught Systems Development on the graduate level as well as several 400/500 level courses. I live in Webster County Kentucky with my husband Dale; Dale is a Cumberland Presbyterian Minister, and a cattle farmer (more of a hobby), and also works with area funeral directors and the Coroner’s office. Dale and I have three daughters, Alisha DeMoss, Dayla Williams, and Leslie Nelson. Our only grandchild, Dalton, is 6 years old and the light of our life! I enjoy family, cooking, working with my flowers and maintaining my ornamental fish pond. I teach because I believe in the power of education to transform lives. I take my role as your instructor very seriously, and I welcome any communication, questions, or feedback that you may have. |
