I am delighted that you are viewing the College of Business Web page. Our goal is for you to easily obtain the information you seek about our academic programs and our learning environment. We also provide information on our activities, strategic directions, and accomplishments.
Accomplishments and developments this past year include
- Extension of accreditation by the AACSB International of our undergraduate and master’s degree programs in business and undergraduate program in accounting in Spring 2008. Extension of accreditation affirms the high quality of our business and accounting programs and places USI’s College of Business among a distinctive group of business schools worldwide.
- Success of accounting students who won first place in the national Institute of Management Accountants' Student Case Competition in June 2008.
- Groundbreaking for a new $31.9 million Business and Engineering Center in July 2008. This building is designed to promote collaboration across disciplines, increase entrepreneurial and innovative thinking, and enhance the premiere learning experience for our students.
Now that we are in the 2008-2009 academic year, we welcome four new full-time faculty and the nearly 2,000 students who are enrolled in the College of Business programs.
