What activities/organizations are you involved in?
I have been involved with Sigma Tau Gamma fraternity, Spanish Club, intramural
sports, AMIGOs, and an ESL helper for the Evansville community.
What are you most looking forward to about Camp Eagle?
To meet the next hatch of new Screaming Eagles who want to be leaders here! Also,
I’m really pumped to be on the staff to help run the camp.
How did you get started as a student leader at USI?
My first opportunity being a leader at USI was taking an executive position for
the USI Spanish Club.
What was the biggest change from being a leader in high
school to a leader in college?
In high school you have a lot more people watching you and that you are doing
the right things and taking care of school work. In college it is up to nobody
but yourself to keep doing things right.
What advice would you give a new student who aspires to
be a leader at USI?
I recommend that you find one or two things that you are very passionate about
and get involved with them. Once you are comfortable with college academics and
balancing time try getting more involved as you like. Also, don’t limit yourself
to just being a leader at USI. There are many opportunities to get involved in
the city of Evansville.
