What activities/organizations are you involved in?
I was a Student Government Association Freshmen Member at Large, I am
a member of the RedZone committee, and tour guide for College Mentors for
Kids.
What are you most looking forward to about Camp Eagle?
I went last year as a camper and I loved every minute of it. I met so many people that I consider great friends now.
So, I am looking forward to creating more friendships.
How did you get started as a student leader at USI?
Camp Eagle really opened my eyes to all of the things that I could get involved in,
and that is when I decided that I wanted to get involved with the SGA.
What was the biggest change from being a leader in high
school to a leader in college?
A leader in high school was someone that the younger people
could look up to, but in college a leader is someone that everyone can rely
on to get things done.
What advice would you give a new student who aspires to
be a leader at USI?
Rome did not become Rome in one day, so do not drown yourself
with extra curricular activities. Take baby steps at first to realize how
much you can take. If you want to become a leader USI is a great place to
be.
