About Fraternity Recruitment
Being Greek at USI means more than just wearing Greek letters, attending meetings, and participating in Greek Week. Being in a fraternity or a sorority is about making friendships that will last far beyond your college years and committing yourself to scholarship, leadership, and service. It is being respected for your individuality while being part of a brotherhood or sisterhood with individuals who share the same goals and values. Your brothers and sisters are there to support you, not just through your college years but throughout your entire life.
Fraternity recruitment is the process by which interested individuals have the opportunity to attend events sponsored by the fraternities. They will have a chance to meet and interact with the brothers and learn about the fraternity. If you are interested in joining a fraternity and would like more information, please contact Dani Dencklau at 812-465-7167 or dmdencklau@usi.edu.
Requirements to join a fraternity: To join an IFC fraternity, a minimum GPA of 2.3 is required. In addition, each chapter has its own minimum requirements set by their (inter)national organization. Please contact the USI chapter that you are interested in to find out their requirements.
