Intake is the process by which NPHC chapters
(historically African-American fraternity
and sororities organizations)
extend membership to new men and women. Typically this process happens
after a student has completed a minimum number of credit hours and have
achieved a certain level of academic achievement.
At this time USI does not have any active NPHC Chapters, but the University is working with local alumni chapters to establish these opportunities.
Currently Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. has been approved by the university to hold Information Sessions. Please see below for more information
If you would like more information about
other NPHC organizations opportunities or to express your interest in
establishing these organizations, please contact David Stetter
at USI1Greek@usi.edu.
