• Larry Gries takes his students to the Evansville Museum of Arts and Sciences to examine the connection between literary and visual art.
• Sherry Darrell took fifteen Humanities faculty to Chicago to visit the Art Institute for Ghiberti doors from Florence 15th century; the Field Museum for a Charles Darwin exhibit; the University of Chicago Oriental Institute for fabulous artifacts 2.0 million years ago to about 400 BCE; the Newberry Library for its huge, rare collections of maps, manuscripts, illustrations; and the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre for Cymbeline, Lyric Opera of Chicago for La Boheme.
