Rape: Wrong Place, Wrong Time
Samantha Stratton, a USI sociology student who was sexually assaulted on campus, shared her story in a public forum September 11, 2008. Those in attendance learned about campus and community resources and steps to protect themselves from becoming a victim, as well as learn about opportunities to get involved with awareness and prevention activities. To add more information were representatives from the USI Counseling Center, USI Safety and Security, USI Residence Life, RAD (Rape Aggression Defense) instructors, MAARV (Men Allies Against Rape and Violoence), and Albion Fellows Bacon Center.
