
Dustin Murray, Graduate Assistant Baseball Coach
Dustin Murray enters his third season with the Eagles,
specializing in working with the hitters and the catchers. During his first
season, the Eagles improved their batting average 42 points in 2007.
Murray came to USI after spending the 2006 season as a student assistant
on Tracy Archuleta's staff at UW-Parkside. He played three seasons for
UW-Parkside after transferring from Lethbridge Community College, where he
led his team to the 2002 Canadian championship.
The native of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, played in 92 games for UW-Parkside
during his three seasons. He batted .281 with 14 RBIs and 14 runs scored as
a senior in 2005, helping lead the Rangers to the GLVC championship and the
NCAA Division II North Central Regional finals.
Murray graduated from UW-Parkside last May with a bachelor's degree in
Sports and Fitness Management.
