Schiff was joined in the multiple hits category by sophomore outfielder Andy Nucci (Ft. Wayne, Indiana), who was three-for-three with two runs scored and a RBI.
Sophomore shortstop Josh Perkins (Lafayette, Indiana) extended his hitting streak to 14 games, dating back to last season, with a one-for-three performance. Perkins is three games shy of the USI record of 17 set by Kevin Brown in 1993.

Stuck went the first four innings allowing two runs on five hits while striking out four. Winters, who got his third win of the season, entered in the fifth and allowed only one run on three hits while striking out two. Adams finished the game allowing only one hit.
The next action for USI will be Saturday and Sunday, March 17-18, against Christian Brothers University for a three game series. Both days will begin at noon.
