Krista Loewen,
Assistant Women's Tennis Coach
Krista Loewen is in her sixth year as an assistant coach for the USI women's
tennis team. Loewen was a three-sport student athlete at USI while working
toward a bachelor's degree in art.
Loewen joined the USI coaching staff after teaching tennis with Coach Porter at a local country club. She also has taught tennis through group and private lessons since high school.
Following graduation from USI, Loewen worked in the advertising world as a graphic artist and art director. Recently, she has become a partner in backSlash Marketing.
At USI, Loewen played number three singles and split time between number one and two doubles as a senior. She played tennis from 1993 through 1996; softball from 1994 to 1995; and golf in 1997.
