Program Outcomes
1. Graduates will have proficiency in engineering science, mathematics through differential equations and science including calculus-based physics and chemistry.
2. Graduates will have an ability to design and conduct practical experiments and to analyze and interpret data from several areas of engineering.
3. Graduates will have an ability to design an engineering system, component or process to meet desired needs
4. Graduates will be able to demonstrate teamwork skills and the ability to function on interdisciplinary teams.
5. Graduates will have an ability to identify and solve engineering problems and use practical engineering applications.
6. Graduates will have an understanding of both professional responsibilities and workplace ethics.
7. Graduates will have an ability to communicate effectively.
8. Graduates will have the broad education necessary to understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global and societal context.
9. Graduates will have a recognition of the need for and an ability to engage in life-long learning.
10. Graduates will gain an industry awareness and knowledge of contemporary problems through practical industrial applications and optional work experience.
11. Students will have educational preparation in the techniques, skills and modern engineering tools necessary to pass the FE examination, and the PE examination and function effectively in engineering practice.
