Home Sweet Home
Need a place for your group to get its business done? Have some
equipment that you use every year that you need to store? What about a
place where your group's executive board or committees can meet? If you
said yes, you may want to look into applying for a student organization
office.
Offices
The Involvement Center in the lower level of the University Center
contains six office suites that are reserved for USI's registered student
organizations. Each spring, organizations can apply for some space in
these suites for the following academic year.
These
offices come equipped with a desk, chairs, cabinets and bookshelves, drawers
for files, and bulletin boards. Many organizations supply their own
computer for tracking their group's membership making flyers for event, and
managing their funds. Organizations are secured with a four-digit coded
lock for security.
Storage
Cabinets
On the lower level of the University Center, several storage cabinets are
located just outside of the Dean of Students Office for student organization
use. These storage cabinets can be reserved throughout the year for your
organization's belongings.
Mailboxes
Every USI student organization is provided a mailbox. These
mailboxes are located on the lower level of the University Center and are
great for advertising your group's events to other organizations,
communicating with national organizations, and subscribing to professional
journals. Student organizations are encouraged to check their mailbox on
a weekly basis.
