Creating a strong student organization is more than just getting your friends together to do something fun.  Your club needs structure and stability.  The structure comes from having documents that explain your group's purpose and history.  The stability comes from having processes in place and a regular way of doing things that will allow others to easily pick up where you leave off.  Each step in this checklist must be completed in 90 days from the time you receive your Intent to Organize Packet.		Q: Why do I have to do all of this stuff? A: Once you complete this checklist, your group becomes a "registered student organization" and can enjoy benefits such as holding meetings in the UC, posting flyers on campus, reserving University equipment, and much more.  Plus, completing this checklist will give your club the foundation it needs to sustain and grow after you graduate.  Each year potential clubs fall apart because these tasks aren't completed.  Don't let your group end up like those.

This checklist can be done in any order, and your group can work on different portions of this checklist at the same time.  You can turn in the evidence as you complete each activity or after all of the activities have been completed (links to resources and materials coming soon).
