Sarah joined the University Division in Fall of 2010 and is excited to form close relationships with students and help them during their time at USI. Prior to this position, she worked in the field of international education at Southern Oregon University. She’s passionate about student success, intercultural communication, international studies, and gender studies. Sarah has a PhD and a MA in Chinese from Indiana University, Bloomington, and  BA in International Studies from the College of William and Mary. She’s lived in Beijing, China and Taipei, Taiwan, as well as several places throughout the U.S. When she’s not working with students, she loves to read and write fantasy and science fiction.
