The May Luncheon is a time where new faces and fresh ideas begin when the membership elects and installs new leadership for the 2013/2014 year. If you, or someone you know, would like to be an officer please let Donna Hopf know, so she can add the name/s to the ballot.

The May Luncheon is free for all paid members, non-paid members cost is $10.00. If you do not know if you are a paid member or not, please contact Becky Ball.

RSVP's for the luncheon are requested, even if you cannot attend, or plan to bring your own lunch.

Get Connected! You will have the opportunity to meet other USI employees from different departments across campus.

The AA&A started in 1969 and is considered the oldest, and still active club on campus to date. The three main reasons for forming the club were to build unity within USI employees, to learn ways to improve professionally, and to establish an endowed scholarship to help eligible USI students.

-- In September 2009, the AA&A Celebrated it's 40th Year at USI. Below is the remarks the founder and honorary member, Mary Lou Russler said at the luncheon.

During the year club members and attendees engage in a variety of activities which may include trips off-campus and guest speakers who enhance the lives of members by providing entertainment, as well as hints on improving oneself in the workplace and as a person.

The club meets every third Wednesday of the month from 12:00noon - 1pm. Those attending usually bring their lunch and after a brief business meeting, everyone will participate in an activity together or listen to a guest speaker.

The club's name should not be confused with titles or positions, but simply reflects the different titled positions held by USI employees, from faculty, support staff to administrative staff. EVERY USI employee is encouraged and are welcome to participate with us every third Wednesday of every month!

The AA&A is now accepting volunteers for the following committees:

• Monthly Hostesses
• Photographer
• Scholarship Committee
• Holiday Party Planners
• other Committees

Joining the Administrative, Assistants and Associates Club is simple! There's no interview or form to fill out; all that is required to become an official voting member is to pay a $10 annual membership fee. Dues are normally collected at the first meeting in the fall, but interested persons can join throughout the year.

• Networking within the employees across the USI campus,
• Improving professionally,
• Helping eligible USI students succeed by supporting a scholarship fund.
