Coming up next month!

Red HeartTuesday, February 14th from 9:00am through 2:00pm the Administrative, Assistants and Associates will be selling baked goodies, candy, valentine themed gifts.

This is our only fundraising event for the year. We will be in both the Orr Building and Education Building lobbies.

If you would like to donate baked goodies, or valentine themed gifts, please deliver them either to Susie Schmitt or Terri Alvey in the Rice Library, or have them at one of the two locations before 9:00am, if at all possible.

Also, we need volunteers to work one hour at any of the locations. If you can help, please click here to choose your time and location. It would be best to have at least 2 people for each hour listed.

Thanks for your support!
Terri Alvey - VP

Ekisa_DesignsWednesday, February 15th
Guest Speaker: Michael Warneke

"Ekisa Designs"

Ekisa means grace in Luganda, the language spoken in Southern Uganda and in the capital of Kampala. All of the products from Ekisa Designs have been handmade by widows living in Kampala, Uganda.

Michael Warneke will be speaking about the work that he is doing in Uganda, both with a group of widows and with orphans. Michael is trying to find a marketplace for selling the widows products. He will be bringing with him some of the products the widows have made.
