Math Summer Bridge Program
The Math Summer Bridge Program is designed to assist under-prepared students begin the academic year with the math skills
necessary to succeed.
-
Incoming students will be invited to
apply if they place into GENS097 (Algebra Review) or MATH100 (Intermediate
Algebra).
-
There will be 15 spaces for each course
available during the third summer session.
-
The course will meet for three hours per
day. The additional hour is for guided work time with the instructor.
-
Students will be responsible for
tuition, fees and books. Housing is optional.
-
All students attending early
Orientations will receive an information brochure in their packet.
-
Interested students should sign up for the
Math class they placed into for Fall and apply by the deadline.
-
Selected students will be allowed to sign up
for the next math class in the sequence for their intended major for Fall. The students will be
monitored, so if they decide not to attend the summer course, or if they
do not pass the class, they
will be dropped from the higher math class.
