Degree Audit Reporting System (DARS).
DARS was developed to assist in the advising function. A degree audit outlines a studentís specific degree requirements and tracks their progress toward the fulfillment of those requirements. Both USI and transfer credits are included, and the audit indicates whether categories are satisfied or unsatisfied. Unsatisfied categories list the acceptable courses from which to select. Audits are routinely refreshed to reflect record changes (drop/adds, change of major, priority-registration, etc.). Students can view their audit any time of the year via MyUSI (my.usi.edu). Academic advisors can also access their adviseeís degree audit and can recommend the most appropriate courses.
"What-If" audits can also be run by students considering a change in academic program. This is a useful tool to determine how completed courses will be applied to a new major.
To access your Degree Audit, log on to MyUSI at my.usi.edu ; select Academic Services, Administrative Services, Student & Financial Aid, Student Records, DARSWeb, Submit an Audit. You can then run an audit for your current degree program or use the What-If Analysis to see how your courses would apply if you changed majors.
