Classes for student success
These 1-hour five week elective-credit classes will help students with academic success at USI. These are useful for incoming or continuing students. Students can choose one, two or three different classes to enhance their schedule.
· GENS111: Career Planning: For students not sure of career opportunities in their declared major or who have not yet declared a major. This course is a valuable tool for students needing direction.
· GENS105 College Study Strategies: For new or continuing students who would like to improve their college study skills.
· GENS199: Special Topics
o Advancing Vocabulary
o Speed Reading.
o PRAXIS Preparation: For incoming education majors or others who have not yet taken the PPST.
