The class schedule contains important semester dates and other valuable information to help in planning your semester at USI. It includes details about admission, placement testing, new student orientation, financial assistance, tuition and billing, Core 39, graduation, and other academic policies. It also includes the registration calendar, instructions for schedule changes and withdrawals, the final exam schedule, and more. Students and faculty should refer to the class schedule throughout the entire semester.
The fall schedule is published in early March of each year. The spring and summer schedules are published in early October of each year.
USI students can search course offerings and register online by logging on to myUSI with their username and password. Open Self Service and select Look Up Classes from the registration menu.
For users without myUSI access, use our online search catalog to view offerings and current seat availability.
The University of Southern Indiana bulletin is the official source of the university's undergraduate and graduate programs, courses, policies, and procedures. The bulletin should be used as a guide in planning a course of study and in meeting requirements for graduation. For information about the various degrees, requirements, checksheets and course descriptions, go to bulletin.usi.edu.
Make an appointment with your advisor, who can explain degree requirements for various majors, offer advice on career opportunities available in your major, answer your questions about academic programs, and suggest other campus offices to visit for support and direction.
New undergraduate students must apply to the University through the Admission office. If you were once a student at USI, and are interested in taking classes again, see the Registrar's Office for information about readmission. Current students may register for classes during the timeframes noted on the registration schedule.
