Academic Skills
Our mission is to enhance student success and the educational process at the University of Southern Indiana. We provide academic support services through classes and other learning assistance programs.
We are student-centered and dedicated to assisting all students as they become self-confident, self-directed learners. As developmental educators, we promote learning as a process and individualize instruction by addressing both the cognitive and affective development of students. We seek to create a collaborative environment that is supportive of both students and instructors, to promote learning-centered activities, and to serve as a resource for the university community.
