Pat joined Academic Skills as the Supplemental Instruction Specialist in 2003. In the SI position she recruits faculty to the program and recruits, trains and supervises student leaders in facilitating organized study sessions for these courses. In addition to SI, she is an instructor in Skills for College Reading (GENS 099) as well as a Success Series Workshop presenter. 

Pat, a USI alumni, has a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from USI and a Master of Education from Indiana State University. She is a member of National Association of Developmental Education (NADE) and College Reading and Learning Association (CRLA) and has presented at their national conferences on various college success topics. She has attended SI conferences as well and has participated in college and life success workshops, such as OnCourse. 

Before the SI position, Pat was an adjunct instructor at USI in Academic Skills and at Ivy Tech Community College.
