Meet the Staff

Nancy Myers

Nancy Myers joined the Academic staff in August of 1989 as a GENS 097 adjunct instructor. In August of 1993, she became the first person to serve as Math Specialist. In December of 2006, her job title changed to include Placement Testing Coordinator. Besides teaching, her duties include supervising the Algebra Review instructors, recruiting, training and supervising the Math tutors and supervising placement testing. Nancy also serves as the liaison between Academic Skills and the Math Department. She is a member of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) and the National Association for Developmental Education (NADE).
