Relax It's Just Math:

Understanding The Core Curriculum:

Every student has to complete the Core Curriculum in order to graduate from USI with a bachelors degree.  If you don’t understand the University Core Curriculum or don’t know why you have to take courses that don't count for your major, then this is the workshop for you.  We'll discuss why you need the Core Curriculum, what courses you need to take to complete the core, and core requirements specific to various majors.

The average college student will be required to read 2,500 pages of text every semester.  Are your reading speed and comprehension skills strong enough to meet the demands of college reading?  Attend this interactive workshop to assess your current reading speed, learn to break bad habits, and apply some new reading strategies to become an efficient and flexible reader.
