The Vice Provost for Outreach assists the Provost and Vice President for Academic Affairs in areas of general academic administration and represents the University on selected regional and state agencies and organizations. 

Dr. Jones also serves as Dean of
Extended Services which complements
the University’s traditional role by offering continuing education programs and services for the community, including:

• Southern Indiana Japanese School

• English as a Second Language International (ESLI)
