University Housing
Complete and return the housing contract or apply

Orientation/Class Registration
All new students must attend an orientation/registration session. RSVP for
orientation
online or by filling
out the registration card attached to the orientation brochure and returning
it to the Office of Development. For more information, e-mail connect@usi.edu

Placement Testing
All incoming, degree-seeking freshmen and some transfer students are required
to complete placement testing in mathematics prior to
advisement and registration. These tests will be given during orientation,
or you may call and make an appointment to take placement tests prior to attending

Immunizations
All students entering USI for the first time and/or living in campus housing
must meet the immunization requirements of the University and Public Law 192
enacted by the 1993 General Assembly. If you have not received, completed
and returned a USI Immunization Form to the Student Immunization Office, download
the form online or call
812/461-5285.
Final Transcript
Remember that admission to USI is tentative until we receive proof
of your high school graduation and, if applicable, final college transcript(s).
High School Students:
Ask your Guidance Office to send your official*, final high
school transcript directly to the Office of Admission to verify your graduation
requirements.
Transfer Students:
If you are currently attending another college or university, we will need
an official, final transcript after completion of your most recent academic
term.
*Official transcripts are defined as having an official school seal, stamp, and/or signature from the high school, college, or university. Official transcripts must be sent from the institution(s) attended directly to the USI Office of Admission. Hand-delivered or faxed transcripts are considered unofficial.
