Admission Process
Application for admission to USI must be made on forms provided by the Office of Admissions. If you would like to request an application for admission, please email enroll@usi.edu or call (800) 467-1965, (812) 464-1765.
If completing a paper application, you must attach a check payable to USI for the $25 application fee. If applying online, you may pay the application fee by credit card.
You will also need to contact your high school and any colleges that you have attended to request that they provide USI with a copy of your transcripts. If you have obtained your GED, in lieu of a high school diploma, please forward to USI a copy of the GED score sheet.
A transfer student or an incoming student who has been out of high school for three or more years is not required to submit SAT or ACT scores.
Once USI has received your application, application fee, and your high school and college transcripts, we will be able to make a decision on admission to the University. After acceptance to USI, you will receive detailed information about orientation, registration, and housing.
