USI SpringFest is Coming
And you’re invited!
SpringFest 2008 will be celebrated Friday and
Saturday, April 18 & 19.
Mark your calendars now, because this will be a
SpringFest like no other!
There will be carnival rides for young and old.
Bring your children (or grandchildren), because Alumni, their
spouses, and their children or grandchildren can ride the rides all
day both days for FREE!
Food booths will feature carnival foods inspired by
the West Side Nut Club’s classic cookbook!
On the main stage, there will be free live
entertainment all day both Friday and Saturday, with over twenty
bands and acts performing for your enjoyment.
The fifth annual “USIdol” contest
Semi-Finals will be on stage Friday evening. Come and see how talented
this year’s crop of undergraduates can be!
During this year’s SpringFest HOT96 will also be
featuring live remotes and organizing a record-breaking “World’s Largest
Hug” right here on campus! Please come out and hug someone.
Saturday night in PAC Arena, SpringFest 2008 will
host the headliner band “Dashboard Confessional.” Tickets for the
concert go on sale for USI Alumni on Tuesday, March 25 from 8:00 am
until 4:00 p.m. in the Orr Center Lobby. (General Public tickets if
available will go on sale Monday, March 31). Special ticket price for
USI alumni is $20. General Public price is $25.
