Improved Access to Web for Alumni

The first phase of USI's three-year effort to improve administrative computer services on campus will arrive during the second week of March when MyUSI upgrades to MyUSI.

Although MyUSI's Web address will be the same as MyUSI's www.usieagles.org, the new Web portal will offer greater flexibility, improved services, and increased reliability to the University community.

"The upgrade to MyUSI is exciting because it is the first of many milestones we will have in the next three years of this administrative software conversion," said Steve Bridges '89, '95 MBA, SCT Banner implementation project coordinator. "This milestone also is particularly exciting in that it provides the USI community with a direct opportunity to see the results of this effort and hopefully provides our users with some of the functionality they have been wanting."

Users will have the opportunity to customize their own pages by adding, moving, or removing content to suit individual tastes and interests. The individual design functions operate in much the same way as those available on MyYAHOO.

Alumni use the Web for Alumni site to update their personal information, to submit a class note for Alumni Today in the USI Magazine, to find a former classmate, and to build a personal connection of campus and Alumni Association information.

Access to the website is password protected. Alumni who have misplaced their user name and password, may call USI Alumni and Volunteer Services at 812/464-1924.
