USI Eagle Hour: Networking for Local
Alumni
The USI Alumni Association
will host USI Eagle Hour from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, March 4, at Ri Ra
Irish Pub, 701 NW Riverside Drive in Evansville. USI alumni and faculty
will gather after work for the first local alumni networking reception.
Nancy Johnson, director of Alumni & Volunteer Services, said,
"This is a wonderful way for alumni who live in the area to network with
each other and find out how they can be more involved with the
University."
Complimentary appetizers and a cash bar will be available. To register
for the event, email alumni@usi.edu.
USI has 28,197 alumni. The USI Alumni Association has chapters in
Indianapolis, Louisville, and Dubois County, Indiana, as well as several
constituent groups, including the Black Alumni Society and nursing and
social work alumni organizations. Alumni & Volunteer Services staff will
assist in creating the structure for new groups that would like to form.
The Alumni Association plans to hold networking events three times a
year in various locations in the area. For more information, call Alumni
