The Student Alumni Association, formed in 1989, is a student-run organization committed to promoting and supporting the establishment of new traditions at USI. Traditions help create a sense of unity between past, present, and future students while creating lasting memories. One of SAA's goals is to foster better relationships and provide a link between USI's students, alumni, faculty, and staff. Through various student-alumni activities and programs, SAA encourages students to become involved with USI and to stay involved after graduating. SAA is about building traditions, creating memories, and establishing relationships to last a lifetime.
SAA is a group of students who share a special enthusiasm for USI. Members are male and female, freshman - seniors, Greek and non-Greek, traditional and non-traditional students.
Once you've completed 30 credit hours at USI, regardless of whether or not you graduate, you are considered an alumnus or alumnae. There's no better time to start learning what is to be an alumni than as a student. SAA interacts with the USI Alumni Association throughout the year at various events and networking opportunities.
