How to make a deposit to your vending (offline) account

The Eagle Access Card gives you access to a declining balance account called EagleBucks. You can deposit money (cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, or Discover) at the Eagle Access Card Office in the University Center. Account balances can be obtained from the Eagle Access Card Office. EagleBucks can be deposited on the card for the laundry facilities. The current balance on your Eagle Bucks account will be carried over from semester to semester. When you graduate or withdraw from USI, you may request a refund of remaining funds. An EagleBucks balance greater then $5.00 will be returned. You are encouraged to use the card and spend a remaining balance if less than $5.00. Cash-to-Card Machine is located outside the Eagle Access Card Office (in the University Center). The maximum amount for deposit is $25.00. This money is an offline function and cannot be frozen if the card is lost or stolen. It is like losing cash -- the money is gone!
How to make a deposit to your online account

The Eagle Access Card also allows you to deposit money into the Bookstore & Flex account. These accounts are set up to allow students to deposit greater amounts of money to be used for the student's stay at the university. This money is carried over from each semester. If the card is lost or stolen, the account can be frozen until measures are taken to find the card or receive a replacement. We will gladly refund your money upon proof of being withdrawn or graduating from USI.

The BOOKSTORE account is set up for purchases in the bookstore only. This money cannot be used anywhere else.

The FLEX account can be used in the USI Bookstore, Sodexo Food Service operations, USI Rice Library, computer lab printers, or copiers.

To activate a meal plan

Depending on which meal plan you choose, you may deposit money at the following locations: The Top Flight meal plan must be purchased at the Bursar's Office, lower level, Orr Center; Platinum and Gold Card plans and Munch Money must be purchased in Dining Services Center, second floor, University Center.

If your card is lost

If your card is lost or stolen, contact the Eagle Access Card Office immediately to deactivate your card. A lost card could be used by anyone who finds the card. Bookstore, Flex, and Food Service accounts are protected and only accessible by the card holder. However, EagleBucks for laundry can be used by anyone. Use the Eagle Access Card and protect it like you do cash.

If you find a lost card, please turn it into Eagle Access Card office or campus security. Lost or damaged cards can be replaced in the Eagle Access Card Office. There is a $10 charge for replacing lost cards.

USI Bookstore purchases You can now use your Eagle Access Card for any purchase in the bookstore. Deposits in the "bookstore" account can only be used in the USI Bookstore.

If you elect to not utilize the EagleBucks account, you will still be able to use your Eagle Access Card for meal plan access, for Rice Library patron privileges, as personal identification with image, name, and signature on card.

You are under no obligation to deposit money in USI's EagleBucks. There are no fees or other charges associated with opening or maintaining an EagleBucks account. Make a deposit today. It will be there for you when you're ready to use it.
Terms of use

The Eagle Access Card (EAC) is your identification for the University. The EAC is the property of the University of Southern Indiana, is issued by USI to Cardholder only, and is non-transferable.

Use of the EAC may be revoked at the University's sole discretion for violation of University policies and procedures. Faculty and staff must relinquish the card upon separation from the University. Access privileges of EAC will be deactivated when student, faculty, or staff status is terminated.

EAC must be presented upon request at the time of use to obtain services or to establish official University status.

EAC is to be used only by the person to whom it is issued. Only the Cardholder can present the Card for debit and other privileges. EAC will be confiscated if presented by someone other than the Cardholder.

University of Southern Indiana Rules and Regulations govern the use of the EAC. Misuse of the EAC may be referred to the Dean of Student Life.

Refunds will be granted upon withdrawing or graduating from the university.

Depositing money into any of the accounts signifies agreement with these terms and conditions.
