How can you find and display your IP#?

Method #1

Download this file  IPaddress.Com  to your desktop folder and click on it. Your IP# will be displayed automatically.

Method #2

1. Click on the start Menu.

2.Click on RUN.

3. Type CMD and click ok.

4: You will get a C:> prompt.

5. Type  IPCONFIG

This will display your IP#

Note:

If  you do not have a fixed IP,  each time you are connecting  to your ISP your IP# may change. Therefore you must check your IP# every time you connect to your Internet service provider (ISP).

After installing your web server, e-mail  your IP#  information to aforough@usi.edu
