Scholarships & Awards

An Honors Program to celebrate students in the College of Business at the University of Southern Indiana who excels in the classroom, earns scholarships, and receives academic achievement awards is held during the spring semester. The yearly program also recognizes the generous donors who have contributed to these education programs by establishing scholarships in the USI Foundation.

The students and the awards they received during the March 26, 2009, program are listed here.

The list below, though not complete, is a means to help students become aware of various scholarships and awards that are available.

The application deadline for all College of Business Scholarships & Awards is the first Friday in December (subject to change without notice).

  • Jennings D. & Josephine K. Carter Deans Scholarship -- For an outstanding student with exceptional high school class ranking and SAT score

  • Dr. John A. and Grace Helfrich Eisterhold Scholarship -- For a bright and deserving student with preference to a Mater Dei graduate

  • Pamela Grubb Memorial Scholarship -- For a bright and deserving student chosen by the Faculty Senate Student Affairs Committee

  • The Presidential Scholarships -- For qualifying Indiana high school valedictorians and salutatorians
