Application Guidelines
Proposals must be submitted to the office of the Dean by February 24,
2012
All full- and part-time faculty in the College of
Business are eligible to submit proposals for the Student Learning and Teaching
Innovation Fellowships.
Recommended Proposal Outline
Title Page
Project Summary (not to exceed 150 words)
Project Description (not to exceed 2 single-spaced pages)
Goals and Rationale for the Proposed Project
Description of the Proposed Project
Identify Connection(s) between the Proposed Project and Student Learning Outcomes Assessment
Description of "Success Criteria;" (i.e. how will it
be determined whether the proposed project, once completed, has been
successful?)
Criteria for Selection
The congruence between the goals and rationale of
the proposed project and the guiding principles of the College of Business (http://www.usi.edu/business/strategic/principles.asp)
Potential for success
Likely impact on students and the curriculum
Willingness to share insights from the project in a
public forum within one year following receipt of a fellowship
