September 2003Dr. Anusuya Roy, joins the Economics and Finance Department as an Assistant Professor of Economics. She received her PhD in 2003 from the State University of New York, Albany. Her dissertation title is “Evaluation of the Head Start Program: Additional Evidence from the NLSCM79 Data.” Her teaching interests are, Business Statistics, Health Economics, and Labor Economics, and her research interests include Health Insurance, Public Policy Issues in Health Care, and Applied Econometrics. July 2003“Endogenous Lobbying in Search of Import Protection.” by Sudesh Mujumdar and Wofgang Mayer, was published in Rivista Di Politica Economica, January - February 2003. May 2003Contemporary Economic Issues in Developing Countries, co-edited by Dr. Mohammed Khayum and Dr. J. Baffoe-Bonnie was published by Praeger Publishers, 2003."Contagion Effects of the Asian Financial Crisis: Regional or Global in Scope?" by Mohammed Khayum and Jong Rhim, was published in Global Business and Finance Review, Spring 2003.
