Urban and Rural High School Students: A Case Study" by Greg Valentine
and Mohammed Khayum was accepted for publication in the Spring
2005 special issue Personal Finance of the Delta Pi Epsilon Journal.
This paper considers the influence of economic socialization on financial
literacy. Based on a sample of high school students the results from
regression analysis suggest that the effectiveness of financial education
in improving financial literacy may be influenced by the economic
socialization of those receiving such education.
