Tim Stonesifer, CFO of SABIC Innovative Plastics

The College of Business Executive in Residence program with Tim Stonesifer will take place October 24, 2008, at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. in Carter Hall.

Tim Stonesifer is the chief financial officer (CFO) of SABIC Innovative Plastics. SABIC Innovative Plastics, a business unit of Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC), founded in September 2007 with the acquisition of GE Plastics, is headquartered in Pittsfield, Mass.

Stonesifer began his career with General Electric as a member of the Financial Management Program in 1989.  Prior to his current position with SABIC Innovative Plastics, Stonesifer served as the chief financial officer of GE Plastics, beginning in January 2007.

A GE Corporate audit staff graduate, he has held a variety of leadership roles including European CFO of GE Equipment Services and the Manager of Finance for the Financial Services Group.  He also served as GE Equipment Services’ Interim European CEO.

Stonesifer earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Michigan in 1989.
