Location:
The USI College of Business is located in the Robert D. Orr
Center on the University of Southern Indiana campus on State Road 62 two miles west of
Evansville, Indiana.

|
Mission:
The mission of the College of Business of the University of
Southern Indiana is to educate individuals for professional and managerial positions in
business, government, and other institutions in Southwestern Indiana and beyond; to
contribute to and apply existing business knowledge; and to serve the greater Evansville
community as a resource for training, consultation, and economic development.

|
History:
The University was founded in 1965 and has offered
undergraduate business programs since its inception. The College of Business was
established in 1987. The School began offering an evening MBA program in 1989 and an
evening Master of Science in Accountancy program in 1997. Today, the College of Business
serves over 1,400 undergraduate and 100 graduate students.

Degrees:
The USI College of Business offers programs leading to the
Bachelor of Science (BS) and the Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Accounting, Applied Computer Science, Business
Administration, Business Education, Computer Information Systems, Economics, Finance,
Management, and
Marketing as well as the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Master of Science in
Accountancy. The bachelor's and master's degree programs are accredited by
AACSB-The
International Association for Management Education.
In addition to the degree programs, post-baccalaureate
certificate programs are offered in accounting and computer information systems.

Faculty:
The USI College of Business has 41 full-time faculty members;
34 have doctoral degrees. Many have held positions in business. Our faculty is
committed to excellence in teaching, applied scholarship, and service to economic
development.
