Beta Gamma Sigma is the honor society recognizing outstanding academic achievements of students in business programs accredited by AACSB International -- The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business.

Membership in Beta Gamma Sigma is the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive in a business program accredited by AACSB International.

Upperclassmen and graduate students are invited to join based on class rank and achievement of specific cumulative grade point averages.

Mission:

The mission of Beta Gamma Sigma is to encourage and honor academic achievement and personal excellence in the study and practice of business; foster an enduring commitment to the principles and values of honor and integrity, and to encourage the pursuit of wisdom and earnestness; support the advancement of business thought, and to encourage life-long learning.

Benefits to Members:

Lifelong Recognition--By accepting membership in Beta Gamma Sigma, students receive lifetime recognition for their outstanding academic achievements and potential for leadership in the area of business.
Student Scholarship Program--Beta Gamma Sigma members are eligible to compete for the Society's annual scholarship awards.
Educational Tours--On an ongoing basis the Society offers business/educational tours.
Alumni Receptions--Each year members of the Board of Governors host receptions for all Beta Gamma Sigma members residing in selected major metropolitan areas. These receptions provide opportunities for Beta Gamma Sigma members to hear about vital business issues from outstanding business leaders and meet with other members.
Lifelong Learning through BGS News --The Society's newsletter, distributed to over 250,000 members, contains Beta Gamma Sigma news as well as articles of current interest in business and management.
Career Networking Program--This career networking service is available at a discounted fee to Beta Gamma Sigma members. The program provides a vehicle for members to make themselves aware of potential career advancement opportunities.

Eligibility:

Only those in the top 10% of the undergraduate or the top 20% of the master's programs are honored by an invitation to membership.
