Marie Bussing-Burks, D.A.

Marie Bussing-Burks holds an M.B.A. and a doctorate of arts in economics. She has been an adjunct instructor in the economics and finance department at USI for thirteen years. Bussing-Burks is the author of The Young Zillionaire's Guide to Taxation (2000), Profit from the Evening News : using leading economic indicators to make smart money decisions (2001) and Influential Economists (2003). Recently, she began a small publishing company, Business Books, LLC, specializing in business books for young adults.

Bussing-Burks enjoys serving on the boards of USI Foundation, St. Mary's Medical Center Foundation and Southern Indiana Higher Education, Inc. She lives in Evansville with her family.
