The Procurement Department strives to create a synergism in product and service procurement that supports the University academic mission. Our customer-driven service employs accepted and innovative methods and procedures to facilitate the timely availability of quality products and services at a prudent cost.
We provide commodity as well as contractual expertise to the entire University family. Our responsibility includes providing the University’s operating divisions with policies that foster an ethical environment which is responsive and efficient, and that recognizes our obligations to all constituencies, both internal and external.
The University of Southern Indiana’s mission is enhanced when the academic community’s time is not fragmented by having to provide their own peripheral, non-academic services. We help alleviate this burden by providing the creative methods and procedures that facilitate procurement. As a transparent service, utilizing state-of-the-art technology, our posture is support to all customers. This position of close, non-intrusive support drives our ability to provide a total procurement resource for our customers.
