Institutional Purchasing Policies

Overview

Institutional procurement policies serve to protect the institution and meet the requirements of various state laws and funding agencies. These policies also provide the internal controls required by the Board of Trustees and University Administration. Policies, mission statements, systems development, and institutional reporting are the responsibility of the Director of University Procurement Services.

Important policies for everyday consideration address purchasing authority, the competitive process, the audit trail, and restrictions on purchases. Individual policies addressing specific topics are listed at the left. Contact Purchasing with any questions you may have.

On your left are the Purchasing Policies.
