ON-CAMPUS RECRUITING

From September to November in the Fall semester and from February to April in the Spring semester, employers recruit on-campus in the Career Services Office. To be eligible for on-campus recruiting, candidates must be registered with the Career Services Office.

JOB FAIRS*

CareerLINK - Internship/Co-op, Full-time, and Graduate School Fair
This career fair provides an opportunity for employers to meet

and pre-screen candidates for internships/co-ops, full-time positions

and post-baccalaureate education. Likewise, this event gives students/Alumni a chance to meet potential employers and discuss career options. Employers will be able to tell students about their businesses and collect resumes. The fair is open to all USI students and Alumni.

This year's fairs will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2008

and Wednesday, February 18, 2009

Health Professions Career Expo (HPCE)*
The HPCE is traditionally held in October of each year. The expo is open to students and Alumni from the College of Nursing and Health Professions. HPCE is designed to enable candidates to interact with potential employers from many different health-related fields. Underclassmen are encouraged to participate. This year's event will be held on Monday, October 20, 2008.

Teacher Recruitment Fair (TRF)*
The Teacher Recruitment Fair is a job fair designed to introduce teaching candidates to potential employers. School districts both locally and from all over the country typically attend the Teacher Recruitment Fair. This year's fair will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2009.
